Gather 'round, dear friends, and lend an ear,
As I weave a tale of times so dear.
In days of yore, in Renaissance's embrace,
Artistry flourished, leaving none in haste.

Within these walls, a realm takes shape,
Where dreams and wonders art doth drape.
A poet's ink spills with fervent grace,
Crafting verses that time cannot erase.

​

Imagine, if thou will, a painted scene,
Of artists' hands, visions serene.
With brushstrokes bold, they breathe life anew,
On canvas vast, where colors ensue.

​

The melodies of lutes and viols entwine,
With dulcet tones, a harmony divine.
Minstrels, with voices pure and true,
Transport our souls to realms askew.

​

Philosophers ponder, minds aflare,
Seeking truth in knowledge's lair.
Debates unfold, ideas collide,
As intellect and wisdom coincide.

​

But 'tis not all in scholarly pursuit,
For revelry and mirth doth bear its fruit.
Dancers spin and twirl with grace,
Lost in the rhythm, time does erase.

And here we stand, united as one,
In this Renaissance-inspired sun.
Let us cherish this moment in time,
Where art and culture intertwine.

So raise thy goblets, let laughter resound,
In this Renaissance revelry we've found.

To be considered, you must have completed the Academy goal and at least five quests. We encourage knowledge of the game but understand this comes with time and experience. Intellectual curiosity is required to master the game. We do require you to follow the rules of Aardwolf at all times and in all places.

Respect for our fellow members is paramount in the Order of the Bard. Everyone has a right to share their opinions and participate in discussions; however, we do not tolerate rudeness or personal attacks within our ranks. All discourse should be respectful but is otherwise not censored.

As a clan, we strive to influence the world around us for good, assisting other members of Aardwolf where possible in a manner that most suits our individual personalities. Whether you randomly give spellups, retrieve corpses, give out items to newer players, or share your works with the wider population, all offers are welcome.
